Emerging Artistry is a 5-day school holiday program designed for young people aged 9–14 who love music and want to explore songwriting, performing, and creative confidence in a supportive, real-world environment.

Places are limited and expected to sell out.
Across five fun, structured days, students will take part in hands-on workshops that guide them through the world of original music. This is a unique experience with professional musicians and mentors.
They will:
Learn songwriting techniques including turning ideas, stories and feelings into songs
Write an original song in a one on one professional co-write
Build real performance confidence, expression and stage presence
Collaborate in a non-competitive environment
Learn how musicians work together
Experience an artist photoshoot
Perform their original song on stage with a live band in a real live music venue
M.I.A fosters a non-competitive, inclusive environment. Students are encouraged to support one another rather than compare themselves. This creates a space where young artists feel safe to experiment, take creative risks, collaborate and grow.
